Sedum Green Roof Blanket

The Sedum Green Roof Blanket is a field-grown plant layer supplied to site with a minimum of 80 per cent of established plant cover. The sedum plants are cultivated on a biodegradable coir fibre base and supplied to site on pallets. Each pallet contains 50.4m² made up of 21 rolls of 1.2 x 2.0m; 2.4m² per roll. The plants are (evergreen) mixed sedum in a variety of colours. There are usually 8-10 species in each roll.

Sedum Blanket		   Recommended Application
Green roofing, ranging from commercial and domestic buildings, including garden summer houses, to sheds. Sedum blankets are also suitable for installation as groundcover wherever instant colour and soil protection is required.

Indefinite; depending on site conditions, including temperature, moisture, soil acidity etc.

General
The minimum order is for one pallet, 21 sections = 50.4m². Various species of grass and herbs may be added to the blanket at additional cost. Sedum plugs are available in a wide variety of colours for planting in situ; usually in mixed trays of 84. Sedum is drought resistant, self generating and flowers from late spring to late autumn.
 

Installation
 

The Sedum Blanket is delivered to site ready for installation on a pre-prepared surface of substrate and drainage. We recommend that the material on the pallet is unloaded and installed within 48 hours of arrival on site. TerraProducts supplies the Sedum Blanket but does not supply a roof greening system or an installation service.
