BonFlora Mulch Discs, Blankets & Squares

BonFlora is a 100 per cent biodegradable, maintenance free, range of mulch products, manufactured from coir fibre treated with organic binders, to ensure longevity. BonFlora is available in a range of discs, 25 / 80cm diameters and squares, 25 – 150cm, slit to the centre, incorporating a star centre opening. Blankets sizes are, 1 x 30m and 2 x 25m.

Mulch Discs		   Recommended Application
BonFlora coir fibre mulch is an effective environmentally friendly, maintenance free, weed suppressant for installation around new planting, including hedges, shrubs or trees. Unlike bark, it does not deplete the ground of nitrogen and remains fixed in position, even on steep slopes.
Durability
Approximately 3 years. Longevity depends on the prevailing conditions, including the location, temperature, moisture levels and soil acidity.

The material weight is approximately 1000g/sqm

Installation
 

BonFlora Mulch should be securely pinned to the ground with 200mm mild steel pins, at an average rate of 4 or 5 pins per disc, or square metre, depending on the product dimensions. To ensure light resistance, close ground contact is important. Prior to installation, the area to be treated should be levelled and cleared of weeds and objects such as large stones.
