| BonTerra Jute Netting is available in bales each containing 8 pieces of approximately 84 square metres. Lengths my change; therefore the quantity per bale may vary from time to time. | ||
Installation |
||
BonTerra JN5 Jute Netting must be laid vertically on steep or longer slopes but may be laid horizontally on short or shallow inclines and must conform to the slope geometry. The netting must not be stretched. Prior to installation, the slope should be cleared of large or loose stones and the ground should be fairly even. A minimum of 100mm soil depth is recommended to adequately support vegetation. The application of fertilizer is not usually necessary unless the netting was installed on non-organic subsoil. The blankets should be pinned with 150, 200 or 300mm mild steel pins at a recommended pinning average of 2 or 3 per square metre, depending on the slope steepness.
